On April 16, 2016, I had the pleasure of attending a workshop by the name of Woman Build at Lowe’s Home Improvement. This workshop was to assist woman on how to properly use power tools, tape measures and saw’s for the building of Habitat for Humanity homes as well as small or big project around the house.

Each person was given the opportunity to apply what they learned after each demonstration. Unfortunately I was only able to get a few pictures due to my phone dying. I had prior knowledge of how to handle certain tools thanks to my Dad.

After attending this workshop, I now feel like a pro. It’s not to say that I will be going to build a house, but in the future I know that I would be able to assist.
Check out my sawing skills:
Since this workshop, I signed up to spend some free time to assist a family in building their dream home through the Habit for Humanity non-profit organization. Not only will I get to show off my skills, but be able to lend a helping hand and assist in my community.
