Last Wednesday, I had the opportunity to pay homage to one of the greatest musicians of all time, Prince Rogers Nelson, or as many may know him as ” The Artist formally known as….” 

A local night club called the Moon, held a “Tallahassee Remembers Prince” free event with  food, costume contest and videos of his music through his career. This event was full of Prince fans young and old. It was amazing to see the impact that Prince had on each of our lives as we dance and sang to some of Prince’s greatest hits.

As my friends and I danced and reminisced on how much of an impact Prince’s music had on our lives we truly had a night to remember. I was taken back to hear a lot of music that I forgot Prince did. This man was truly a musical genies that will be missed.

The coolest part of the night was this man who skated the whole nigh to all of Prince’s songs. They eventually had him come to the stage and pay homage in his own special way. Check him out…
